We are very excited to announce The Pavilion Award scheme!

This is still in the planning stages, but will be based on life skills that children and young people don’t learn at school. Everything from tying shoe laces or brushing teeth, to managing a budget or achieving Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award…..and everything in between! It will be split into Pre-school, Infant, Junior, and Senior levels, with a huge range of very achievable skills to be chosen and ticked off. And a Certificate. Everyone loves a Certificate! Watch this space….

Youth

What we do.

The youth café sessions are three afternoons each week during term time on Tuesday’s, Thursday’s and Friday’s. We offer a range of activities including art and craft, outdoor sports and games, Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards and Arts Awards.

Wednesday afternoon is “all-age”, with parents/carers supervising their children. We try to provide age appropriate activities for younger children - mainly art and outdoor games.

Our team.

The Youth Café team are all qualified youth workers, and are always on hand to welcome you, offer support and advice, and ensure you enjoy your time at the youth club.

Duke of Edinburgh & Arts Award

We offer these accredited programmes to young people who want to develop their life-skills, meet and make new friends, and gain a recognised qualification.

As a Commission provider of youth services for Kent County Council, we require all young people who attend our youth club to complete a Membership form. As we are funded by other organisations as well for our community work, it helps us greatly to keep a record of people who come to the café. Please click below to download the relevant form.
Thank you!
